In today’s world in spite of the advancements in various fields and the growth of the economies around the world there are still a large number of community problems and social threats that are prevalent in many parts of the world. Though there are many non profit and non government organizations present it is the duty of each and every single person to do whatever he/she can to the community. There are many reasons on why a person should do community service work. Some of the various reasons for doing community service work are as follows.  The first reason is that if a person is doing a fair amount of community service work then he/she is focusing more on the positive side or aspects of a person. This will help a person develop a positive attitude towards one’s own life.

Also one gets to learn a lot by joining various organizations. For instance tree planting, first aid, rescuing skills and so on. Also doing court ordered community service provides a sense of satisfaction to people. Thus these are some of the various reasons on why a person should go for community service work.
